THEY say Guinness is good for you. It certainly led to fame, and even fortune of a kind, for Clows Top man Terry Keegan.

Mr Keegan of The Oxley's smallholding is probably the only regular horse brass designer in Britain and is certainly one of the country's best known personalities among heavy horse devotees.

The National Horse Brass Society

30th Year 2005-2006

This society was formed to cater for persons interested in harness decorations, especially those of the Heavy Horse. We arrange meetings, visits to collections, displays and museums, having been to both The Royal Mews and the RSPCA to view their unique artefacts. Each year our 500 world-wide Members recieve a horsebrass, two glossy Journals and two Newsletters. Comprehensive Archives are held and authoritative booklets on the various types of decorations are regularly published.
