The Heavy Horse Enthusiast supplies a wide range of Fittings and Decorations – All of our cast harness decorations we produce ourselves but we also have a wide range of stamped harness decorations which are made in the UK. We make our own Bell Terrets and Fly Terrets from our wide range of traditional patterns. We have everything from Hame Hooks and knobs to Head Collars and Name Plates. All of our harness leather work is made by one of the finest Heavy Horse Saddlers in the country. Where we can we source our goods from the UK but some of our Stainless Steel products, although bought in the UK are unfortunately made in China. Anything that is brass can be nickel or chrome plated.

Rosettes have a loop at the back to take a leather strap. Usually rosettes fit over either the head piece or the end of the brow band but they can be used to decorate other suitable straps on the Decorated Harness.

We have two types of harness decoration –
Stamped harness decorations – which are stamped out of sheet brass or nickel and have the shanks soldered onto the back, they are made in Walsall England.
Cast harness decorations – Made by ourselves from our own patterns. They are solid casting in brass but can be nickel or chrome plated. The shanks are securely fitted on to the back with silver solder to make them stronger.
